One of the ladies from my church makes this and was kind enough to share her recipe. It is fabulous. Give it a try and let us know what you think.
Anyone have a recipe to share? Would be fun to exchange recipes with Thanksgiving approaching.
Shrimp Bisque
½ Stick Butter
2 Cans Cream of Potato Soup
1 Can Cream of Mushroom
2 Cans of (1 White & 1 Yellow) Whole Kernel Corn (drained)
16 oz Cream Cheese – (room temp.) Can use Fat Free Cream Cheese if you want.
12 ozs Half & Half
2 lb. peeled shrimp (frozen bag shrimp) – thawed & drained – heat in a little bit of butter before adding to soup mix and drain the shrimp again. This will get the fish taste out of the shrimp.
Season to taste: Lawerys seasoning salt, garlic powder, salt & pepper.
Melt butter, add soups, add cream cheese with half & half a little at a time, stirring, add corn, shrimp and seasonings. Heat but DO NOT boil.

ok...Im going to the store today to get the stuff to make this...it sounds so yummy! Thanks for sharing the recipe!
I made this tonight...for our anniversary supper....Larry's exact words..."wow...this is wonderful. So, is this something you are only going to make every 19 years? Cuz if it is, I hope the next 19 go by fast!" It was really really good! Thanks for sharing your recipe. My friend Nancy made it over the weekend and she and her hubby loved it too. I made only half a recipe and have enough left over for another meal! Yea!
So glad you like it. Please make it at least once every couple months for Larry. BTW-HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
